摘要 PURPOSE:To reduce the fluctuation in the count value of a photoelectron pulse and to calculate the measurement of particles in real time, by a method wherein (M+1)-many pulse counter circuits corresponding to the number of additions of moving average processing are used in order to count the photoelectron pulse and successively operated to perform moving average processing. CONSTITUTION:(M+1)-many pulse counter circuits 21, 22... are used in the counting of a pulse and controlled by an (M+1)-bit shift register 51. By this method, a moving average can be processed in real time. Further, a comparator 55 comparing a preset value with a photoelectron pulse count value counted for a definite time is used to measure the time width of scattering light. Therefore, it can be confirmed whether scattering light during measurement is one from particles in real time. The comparator 55 and latch circuits 31, 32... are used to make it possible to detect the peak value of the scattering light in real time. From this peak value, the partical size or number density of the particles in a fluid can be measured in real time using a photon counting method.
