PURPOSE:To continuously discharge a fine metal wire without any hidrance by forming guide face, which points toward drum tangent line direction, to the discharging opening hole at the time of discharging the fine metal wire obtd. by injecting molten metal into the liquid coolant layer on the inner circumferential face of the rotated cylindrical drum, from the drum. CONSTITUTION:The liquid coolant layer 2 is formed on the inner circumferential face of rotated cylindrical drum 1 and the molten metal 3 in a crucible 5 is injected into the liquid coolant layer 2 and the fine metal wire obtd. by rapidly cooling and solidifying is continuously discharged from the opening hold 8 arranged at the outer circumference of drum. In this case, the interval of reversing pulleys 7, 7 forming the opening hole 8 of drum is made to a little wider, so as to set the guide 9 toward tangent line direction, and also the reversing angle of belt 6 by the reversing pulley 7 at the upper part is made to large. At the same time, a fine wire guide 9 having a guiding groove 91 cut to circular arcuate shape at the end part and having circular arcuate seal part 92 along the slit face of opening part of the drum at the back face thereof is fitted, so as to close the upper part of opening part 8 by the seal part 92. The fine metal wire is smoothly discharged, without changing toward discharging direction, by centrifugal force.
