PURPOSE:To surely subject a contaminated solid material to an insolubilization treatment by grinding the contaminated solid material to a prescribed grain size, then intimately mixing the contaminated solid material and chemicals such as reducing agent, subjecting the mixture to the insolubilization treatment and intimately mixing the mixture with cement, etc., and subjecting the same to a solidification treatment. CONSTITUTION:After the contaminated solid material such as concrete and stone is ground to the prescribed grain size (e.g., <=3mm), the contaminated solid material and the chemicals such as reducing gent (e.g., aq. soln. of ferrous sulfate) are intimately mixed and the mixture is subjected to the insolubilization treatment. The mixture is then intimately mixed with the cement, etc., and is subjected to the solidification treatment. As a result, the contaminated solid material is surely subjected to the insolubilization treatment. The continuous insolubilization treatment and solidification treatment of the contaminated solid material are possible regardless of the properties and concn. of the contaminated solid material and the degradation in the working environment is prevented.
