<p>PURPOSE:To enhance the efficiency of sorting work on a sheet exhaust tray in the sort mode and stack mode by performing control through combination of a circulative type automatic original feed device with a traveling type sheet exhaust type device. CONSTITUTION:When originals in the number of N are transcripted in the sort mode and exhaustion of sheets is completed, a motor 304 of an exhausting tray mechanism 300 is started, and transmission to a link mechanism 306 is made by gears 304a, 305, and a sheet exhaust tray 303 is put in parallel movement in the direction perpendicular to exhaustion. The said motor 304 stops when this movement causes a photo-sensor 307 fixed to a supporting table to cover two shutter plates 308 fixed to exhaust tray, which is moved in respective positions to stop. The same procedure is repeated, and sheets in a specific number are stacked on exhaust tray 303 alternately to continue till the set number of copies repeatedly. The same procedure is taken even in the stack mode. Accordingly sorting work can be done with good efficiency in any mode.</p> |
