PURPOSE:To externally perform connection and disconnection of a bushing with line leads in a transformer tank by attaching an insulating space to the end of the line leads of a transformer and providing a switching mechanism between the bushing and the spacer. CONSTITUTION:A platelike insulating spacer 10 in which a conductor 10a connected at its lower end with line leads 4 is penetrated is secured to the upper wall of a transformer tank 2. Connecting, separating and grounding means 11 is mounted between the spacer 10 and a bushing 3. Then, an electromagnetic solenoid 16 is externally energized and deenergized without necessity of working by a worker in the tank 2, thereby connecting, separating and grounding the leads 4 to or from the bushing 3.
