PURPOSE:To change a print paper by storing heading lines to be printed in headers of respective pages of a translation list or a coupling editing list and the other detail lines in a list temporary preservation file independently of each other while coupling respective lines by pointers. CONSTITUTION:Heading lines 4a and 4b of the translation list or the coupling editing list and detail lines 5a and 5b are stored independently of each other in a temporary preservation file 1, and these lines are coupled by a pointer 2. Consequently, line feed and page advance are performed in accordance with the stored list image when this list is printed by a printer. Thus, the size of the paper where the list should be printed is arbitrarily changed. Further, the list is printed with good appearance on optical papers including A4 and B5 cut papers.
