<p>Menstruation is induced in sexually mature women who have not reached the menopause and are not pregnant, by the intravaginal administration, during a period of from 4 days before to 6 days after the expected date for the start of menstruation, of a unit dosage form of a prostaglandin chosen from PGE 1, PGE 2, PGE 3, dihydro-PGE 1, PGF 1 alpha, PGF 2 alpha, PGF 3 alpha, didhyro-PGF 1 alpha, PGF 1 beta, PGF 2 beta, PGF 3 beta, or dihydro-PGF 1 beta or their pharmaceutically acceptable salts, their acylates in which the acyl radical is 1-8C alkanoyl or their carboxylic esters in which the esterifying radical has 1-8C atoms.</p> |
