Process for producing a prepreg with aligned short fibres

For producing a prepreg with aligned short fibres, advantageously metallised reinforcing fibres are used, which are aligned in a magnetic field corresponding to the determined line of force profile of the mould and are subsequently impregnated with a plastic. The new prepregs are outstandingly suitable for the production of mouldings of various kinds.
