A tool coupling for connecting a tool head and a tool holder with anti-rotational locking and axial pre-loading, in which the tool head serving as tool has an at least partly tapered locating journal, a tapped hole and an annular bearing collar, and the tool holder has a sleeve-shaped, at least partly tapered locating bore corresponding to the locating journal and a tightening screw and an annular bearing face. An additional bore in the locating journal of the tool head ensures pre-loading between the locating journal and the tool carrier containing the locating bore, which pre-loading endures to a sufficient extent even during lateral action of force on the tool head. |
