<p>PURPOSE:To reduce unrequired power consumption, by supplying power to the main body, the CRT display, and the printer of a personal computer with respectively independent DC-AC inverter power unit. CONSTITUTION:The personal computer main body 1 is provided with a keyboard 2, the CRT display 3, and the printer 4, and they receive power supply from separate DC-AC inverter power units 6, 7, and 8 respectively. The personal computer main body 1 always monitors the presence/absence of communication between an exchange, and input from the keyboard 2, and when it detects the absence of them for a prescribed time, stops the operations of the power units 6 and 8 through a control line 9. And when the communication between the personal computer main body 1 and the exchange 5 is restarted, or when the input from the keyboard 2 is performed, the personal computer main body 1 restarts up the power units 6 and 8 through the control line 9.</p> |
