PURPOSE:To obtain a large interimage effect of the titled material, without injuring another photographic characteristics, by incorporating a compd. shown by a specific composition formula to the titled material. CONSTITUTION:The titled material contains at least one kind of the compd. shown by formula I or II. In the formula, R is a straight chain or a branched chain alkylene, alkenylene, aralkylene or arylene group, Z or Z' are each a polar substituent group, R1 is hydrogen atom, a substd. or an unsubstd. alkyl, aryl, alkenyl or aralkyl group, X is hydrogen atom or an alkaline metallic atom, its ammonium group or its precursor, (n) is 0 or 1.
