PURPOSE:To automatically transmit the output signal of an option slot of a preceding step to an option slot of a succeeding step by outputting a signal of high level only when an intermediate value between the threshold values of high level and low level. CONSTITUTION:When an option card 2 is connected to an option slot 3, the option card 2 receives a signal from an input terminal IN and a signal according to a state is outputted from an output terminal OUT. When the card is removed, the output signal of a comparator 10 goes to a high level, an AND gate 11 is opened and an AND gate 13 is closed. Thereby, the signal of a signal line 4 is directly outputted from an OR gate 14 through a first AND gate 11.
