PURPOSE:To enable the combustion condition of an apparatus to approach the perfect one by a method wherein the apparatus is composed of a combustion part, a blower for combustion, and a fuel pump supplying fuel to the combustion part and a set revolving speed is selected and switched in accordance with the elevation of a set location by a set device for revolving speed. CONSTITUTION:An apparatus is equipped with a commercial power source 1, a heater 2 for vaporizer, a convection fan motor 3, and a fuel pump 4. Change-over terminals for revolving speeds 5a, 5b, 5c, 5d installed in a blower 5 for combustion are set at the revolving speeds corresponding to the appropriate air quantity at respective flatlands (standard) having the elevation of, for instance, 500-800m, 700-1,000m, 900-1,200m, 1,100-1,400m; therefore, in accordance with the elevation as a use condition a proper terminal is selected by a change-over switch 6. As the need arises, a variable damper 8 is placed at the air inlet of the blower 5 and the necessary air quantity corresponding to the elevation is secured by changing the opening of the damper and by the combination of the switch and damper. By this constitution, when the apparatus is used at a highland and the revolving speed of the blower for combustion is set or the opening of the air inlet damper is set, an air fuel ratio is able to be kept nearly constant.
