PURPOSE:To run a single test job in different system environments by converting the variable parameter selected for run of the job into an actual parameter with reference to a profile and then starting the run of said job. CONSTITUTION:In a test job run mode, a test job group GA is selected out of a console in accordance with the test purpose. The group GA performs a job to run an automatic conversion program JCLCNV for job control sentence JCL. The JCLCNV input the test jobs JA1-JAn defined by the parameter in the group GA to a main memory from a test job library 1. Then, the variable parameter name of each test job is changed into an actual parameter name based on a profile data set 2 (PROF1) and executed. Thus, it is possible to run a single test job under various types of system constitutions because no limitation is given from the system environment conditions in an actual run mode when the test job is produced.
