The pushchair, including two lateral chassis assemblies 6 each including a main load-bearing arm 8 connected to a front underframe 9 and to a rear underframe 10, is characterised by the fact that, in each lateral chassis assembly 6, the main load-bearing arm 8 is parallel to the front underframe 9 and interacts with the latter in a sliding fashion, between an "out" deployed position of the pushchair and an "in" folded position of the latter, the rear underframe 10 being coupled to the main load-bearing arm 8 and to the front underframe 9 so that, during the sliding movements of these latter, it moves between a folded position in which it is folded down against the main load-bearing arm and the front underframe, and a deployed position in which it is in the active position, and by the fact that it includes, on each side, a sleeve 17 for supporting a pod 4, capable of sliding with respect to the main load-bearing arm 8 and to the front underframe 9. <IMAGE>
