PURPOSE:To prevent a weld crack by forming a flange to a butt part of members to be welded and inserting a gap regulation member between the flange and the members to be welded to perform the laser welding. CONSTITUTION:At the time of performing the laser welding of the members 1 and 2 to be welded at plural places B of the outside periphery of the butt part, the flange 3 is formed to the member 1 of one hand at least and the gap regulation member 4 is inserted between the members 1 and 2 to be welded to provide a prescribed gap. When the laser welding is performed at the plural places B of the outside periphery of the butt part of the members with this constitution, a welded zone contracts when the members 1 and 2 to be welded are solidified and cooled after being welded. At this time, since the prescribed gap is formed between the members 1 and 2, the flange 3 is deformed elastically and the residual stress of the welded zone is reduced. In this way, the weld crack is prevented. |
