A formulation of ectoparasiticidal active substances for use on productive animals is described, which is characterised in that in addition to the active substance or active substance mixture it contains diacetone alcohol as the main component and one or more appropriate other formulation auxiliaries as secondary components. Its preparation and use is furthermore described.
