PURPOSE:To automatically switch a desirable broadcasting station to another one which broadcasts the same contents as the desirable broadcasting station even if the reception condition of the desirable station is not good by storing the frequency information in a storage means when the electric field intensity of the station which is desired to be received is under a specific level and outputting an aural output with setting the station as the reception condition when the frequency information corresponding to the AF code of the receiving station coincides with the stored frequency information. CONSTITUTION:A system controller 9 stores the frequency information of the desirable receiving station, at the time when the electric field intensity is under specific value, in a memory 11. After that a sweep command is issued to a PLL 6, which sequentially sweeps in the band of reception band. When the broadcasting station having the electric field intensity more than a certain value is received, the system controller 9 stops the sweep of the PLL 6 and sequentially compares AF station information obtained by demodulating an RDS code, at the time of stopping the sweep, in an RDS demodulation circuit 8 with the frequency information stored in the memory 11. According to the compared result, the broadcast of the broadcasting station is outputted from a speaker 5 if the frequency information of the desirable receiving station in the memory 11 coincides with the AF station information of the received broadcasting station.
