PURPOSE:To improve handling convenience, by a method wherein the weight of a cartridge tank is detected by a weight sensor to operate the amount of oil while the operated amount of oil is converted into an oil amount signal to indicate it. CONSTITUTION:When a cartridge tank 1 is put on an oil receiving pan 2, the weight of the tank 1 is received by a weight sensor 11 and the weight thereof is detected. Accordingly, the output of the weight sensor 11 is changed in accordance with the change of the amount of oil whereby the input signal for a control circuit 12 is also changed. The control circuit 12 converts the change of the input signal into an oil amount signal and inputs it into an indicating circuit 13. According to this constitution, the amount of oil in the tank is indicated continuously. Accordingly, oil shortage the like may be prevented and the handling convenience of an kerosene burner may be improved.
