PURPOSE:To obtain a substitute for salt available at a low cost and having excellent storability, tissue-coagulation property and infilterability and low salty taste, by adding MgCl2 and/or CaCl2 to a mixture of KCl and sodium acetate. CONSTITUTION:100pts.wt. of a mixture of (A) 90-40wt% KCl and (B) 10-60wt% sodium acetate is compounded with 0.5-15pts.wt. (C) MgCl2 and or (D) CaCl2. The obtained salt substitute is used of the preparation of salty or salted food, etc. |
