PURPOSE:To enable high sensitization of a photoconductor by incorporating at least one of specified compounds containing O, S, Se, or Te atom or the like in the light responsive composition. CONSTITUTION:The photosensitive composition contains at least one of the compounds represented by formula (1) in which Z0 is O, S, Se, Te, or N-R1; R1 is a hydrocarbon group; X0 is an atomic group necessary to form a hetero ring of pyrane, benzopyrane, naphthopyrane, thiopyrane, benzothiopyrane, naphthothiopyrane, selenapyrane, benzoselenapyrane, naphthoselenapyrane, tellurapyrane, benzotellurapyrane, naphthotellurapyrane, or N-containing 5- or 6-membered hetero ring; each of Y1 and Y2 is H, an aliphatic or aromatic group; and A is an optionally substituted aromatic or heterocyclic group, thus permitting the obtained photoconductive composition to obtain a sufficient sensitized effect and high sensitivity. |
