PURPOSE:To display clearly the display mode of an picture forming device by providing a mode setting means for setting an automatic original supply mode with an original supply device when the original is detected in an original stacking section and an opening and closing means is closed. CONSTITUTION:An original stacking section 301 has a sensor 350, an original supply roller 312 and an original tray 313 to supply the originals on said section 301 one by one. Also, a sensor 352 is disposed which detects the opening and closing of an opening and closing door for an automatic original supply device (ADF) 300. In this constitution, when the sensor 350 detects a stack of originals on said section 301 and the sensor 352 detects the closed opening and closing door in a transport section, the ADF mode display is turned ON and the original is sent to a picture forming section in the ADF mode. |
