PURPOSE:To omit the switching of plural sensor input circuits connected to one temperature controller to save operating labor by switching any one of temperature sensors consisting of a thermocouple and a platinum resistor respectively. CONSTITUTION:At the time of turning on a power supply, a control part connects analog switches 21a, 21b, checks the output of an A/D converter 16, and if its output value is not maximum, recognizes the connection of the thermocouple 2. When the output value is not maximum at the time of connecting analog switches 25a, 25b and checking the output of the A/D converter 16, the control part recognizes the connection of the platinum resistor 5. After recognizing the connection of the thermocouple 2 or the platinum resistor 5, the control part controls the analog switches 21a, 21b and 25a, 25b to start temperature controlling operation.
