PURPOSE:To make a device light-weight and small-sized by turning an original carrying endless belt by reciprocation of a reciprocating member of an exposure device in the non-exposure process. CONSTITUTION:An original platen 2 is provided with rolls 18 and 19 in positions corresponding to both side ends in the optical system moving direction of an exposure device 9, and an original carrying endless belt 22 is wound around rolls 18 and 19, and engaging tools 38 are provided at least on one side in the breadthwise direction of the endless belt 22 and are arranged a prescribed length apart from each other in the belt turning direction. Meanwhile, an engaging tool 39 which is disengaged from engaging tools 38 at the time of going of the reciprocating member 32 in the non-exposure process is connected to the reciprocating member 32 of the exposure device 9. The original carrying endless belt 22 is turned by returning of the reciprocating member in the non- exposure process, and the original is fed onto the original platen 2 by turning of the endless belt 22. Thus, the reciprocating member 32 of the exposure device 9 is effectively used to make the device light-weight and small-sized.
