In this device, the extruder A, mixing the base compound 9 and the added aqueous compound 10, outputs into a second extruder B via a pipe 20 emerging into the latter's barrel in the vicinity of its screen-pack/breaker-plate, whereas this second extruder B, of greater nominal output D2 than that D1 of the first extruder, is fitted, in its hopper 23 for supplying the same base compound 9 as the first extruder A, with controlled-supply and closing-off means 23 supplying it with an output which is at most equal to the difference between its nominal output D2 and that D1 of the first extruder.
