PURPOSE:To perform positioning accurately by fitting a permanent magnet and a yoke on a base and by joining said base to a supporting wall. CONSTITUTION:A linear pulse motor is composed of a stator 1 made by arrangement of a permanent magnet 3, four-phase yokes 4a-4d and magnetic pole teeth 5a-5d, and an exciting coil 6 on the upper face of a base 2, a moving element 8 made by forming magnetic pole teeth 81 on a face opposed to said teeth 5a-5d, and a bearing mechanism 7 between said two parts. In this case, the stator 1 is equipped with a square bar-shaped permanent magnet 3 in the Central part of said base 2, yokes 4a-4d making a pair respectively are arranged on both sides of said magnet 3, and stator magnetic pole teeth 5 are integrally fastened to upper faces of said parts. Then, supporting walls 21 being parallel to each other lengthwise and breadthwise are formed in the base 2, and said permanent magnet 3 and yokes 4a-4d are built in the upper face of the base 2 surrounded by said walls and fixed on said upper face. Thus, an assembly operation of said motor becomes more simple.
