PURPOSE:To distribute the load applied by the unit area of an original on a sensor part and to extend the serwice life of the sensor by providing a transparent insulating substrate for protection on a sensor, a film transistor, and a wiring connection part with a transparent adhesive. CONSTITUTION:The sensor part 2 and the TFT part 3 are provided on the transparent insulating substrate 1, and these are coated with a protection film 4. Also on the substrate 1, metal electrode films 5, 6 for connection are provided, and on the top surface of it 6, a flat and elastic metal electrode 12 for connection on which an insulation film 11 of such as polyimide is stuch with a hot-melt adhesive 10 is connected. On the connection part in which the sensor part 2, the TFT part 3, and the electrode 12 are provided, the transparent insulating substrate 14 is provided with the transparent adhesive 13 between the two. As a result, the load by an original 9 is distributed over the substrate 14, and the load applied by the unit area of the original 9 on the sensor part 2 is lightened.
