PURPOSE:To obtain an easily lubricatable film having heat resistance and moisture resistance, by a method wherein the film is composed of a film having specific PATE not containing a powdery lubricant for its base material resin, one side of which possesses specific surface characteristics, and also possesses specific and physical characteristics as the film. CONSTITUTION:The title film possesses PATE having a repeating unit to be shown by formula I for its main constitutent element for its base material resin, being composed of a film not containing a powder lubricant. Then at least one side possesses surface characteristics wherein surface roughness Ra (JIS B-0601 method) falls within a range of 2-200nm, and the kinetic coefficient of friction muk (between films each other, 25 deg.C, ASTM method) falls within a range of 0.1-0.6. Then the breaking strength is 15kg/mm<2> or higher, the breaking elongation is 20% or higher, the tensile modulus of elasticity is 300kg/mm<2> or higher and the fusion point is 260 deg.C or higher. One side of a noncrystalline film of the PATE is treated by making use of a liquid or vapor of a mixture solvent of an organic solvent whose SP value falls within a range of 8.5-11.5, or the same and water or alcohol, or aliphatic hydrocarbon solvent. Then the treated material is stretched unidirectionally or bidirectionally, and the film having the foregoing characteristics is obtained by heat-treating the same. |
