PURPOSE:To dynamically decrease the join process subjects with each other and to increase the join processing speed by informing the join process results to each other after carrying out parallel processes of plural joins. CONSTITUTION:Some merge processors 1-3 have input of data sorted ascendingly and other processors have input of data sorted descendingly. Then all processors perform merge processes in parallel with each other and send the information on the comparison processing results obtained from said merge processes to each other. Based on these results, other information are acquired and controlled to show whether the subsequent processes are required or not to the data stored in their own buffer memories 11, 12, 21, 22, 31 and 32 which are equal to those data used for comparison processes of other merge processors. In such a way, the join process subjects are decreased dynamically and with each other and therefore the join processes are carried out at a high speed.
