Horizontal luminaire for fluorescent lamps, in particular for interior (ambient) lighting. In order to reduce the number and the costs of current (supply) terminals for the basic lighting in domestic rooms, these luminaires are built into a wall separating two rooms; in this case two rooms are illuminated with only one lamp. This luminaire can also optionally be provided with a two-sided continuous brightness control. The brightness is controlled, as desired, by pulling one of the two cord ends, which are in the vicinity of the electrical switch. When pulling the cord, a roller rotates inside the luminaire which is fixedly connected to a double cam. The movement of the double cam causes one of the reflector parts to turn and thus to control the brightness on the desired side. |
