PURPOSE:To be able to deal with main four pieces of information such as a numerical value, a character, a picture and a voice by providing a line switching device, one side of which is connected to a computer, a facsimile equipment and a telephone set and the other side of which is connected to a communication line and which equips a communication request signal detection device. CONSTITUTION:The line switching device is provided, which has the computer 1 including a storage device, the facsimile equipment 5 combined with a printer for output of the computer and the telephone set 7 and one side of which is connected to the computer, the facsimile device and the telephone set and the other side of which is connected to the communication line 9 such as a telephone line, etc., and which equips the detection devices 14-17 detecting a communication request signal from the communication line. Thus, a compact equipment having multi-function is obtained at low cost and the main information such as data.character.picture and voice can be very effectively dealt with.
