PURPOSE:To completely assure recording data by providing a data buffer outputting stored data to a host device through a line driver just after it finishes storing a series of recording data from the host device. CONSTITUTION:A data reproduction circuit 4 reproduces data from a recording medium at the time of data reproduction and data recording, and outputs it to a CRC (error detection code) discrimination circuit 5. The CRC discrimination circuit 5 discriminates CRC data from reproduced data, stores it to an internal register and removes CRC data from reproduced data. A comparator 7 compares CRC data stored in the internal registers in a CRC generation circuit 2 and the CRC discrimination circuit 5, and if they are in noncoincident, reports to the host device through an error signal 102. The data buffer 8 stores a series of recorded data outputted from the host device, and outputs all stored data to a line driver 6A if recorded data is interrupted. The line driver 6A receives the output data and outputs it to the host device.
