PURPOSE:To avoid an erroneous cash registration of a high amount by requesting two keying operations of the cash to an operator for an amount larger than the prescribed value. CONSTITUTION:It is decided whether the amount stored in a register R exceeds a prescribed amount (e.g., Yen10,000) which is previously stored in a region PRESET. When the amount exceeds Yen10,000, an alarm sound such as a buzzer, etc. is generated. At the same time, it is requested to the operator to key in the cash again. Thus a correct amount of cash is registered only when the coincidence is obtained between the amount which is supplied again from a keyboard 2 in response to said request and the amount which is stored in an RAM12 with the first keying operation. |
