PURPOSE:To shorten the axial length of a pump device and reduce the number of parts thereof by embedding a motor actuator integrally in a flat disk-like pump rotor. CONSTITUTION:A housing constituted from magnetic flat portions 1, 2 coupled integrally with each other by screws 3 receives a rotor member 6 rotatably supported on a shaft 4 fixed to the center portion of housing member 2. The outer periphery of the rotor member 6 is covered with a liner member 7 and a vane groove 8 is engraved in both side surfaces of the outer peripheral portion of liner member 7 to constitute a regenerative pump. A pump chamber 10 is defined between annular stator members 11, 12 on the outer peripheral portion of liner member 7, and an annular permanent magnet 14 is provided along the inner peripheral surface of one stator member 11. Also, a plurality of coils 20 are embedded in the interior of rotor member 6 to be supplied with current through a commutator 21 by a brush 17.
