PURPOSE:To shorten a staging time by executing the staging of storing information before addition, updating and deletion, storing the position of read information and detecting the aftermost part of the stored information. CONSTITUTION:Since it is not required to read the already staged data, the last data is read from the read data position to update the staged data. Namely, the last position stored in a medium is detected according to an unwritten block detecting function, and only the added, updated and deleted information from he read data position to the unwritten block is staged in a non-volatile memory for storing the read data position on the storing medium. Thereby, since the staged data is not reread, the staging time can be shortened.
