PURPOSE:To improve removing-efficiency of oil mist by passing an air contg. the oil mist which can not be removed by passing a rotating filter through the filter box which is filled with a filter member having lipophilic property. CONSTITUTION:The air contg. oil mist passed the rotating filter 8 passes the rear filter box 5, the upper filter box 17 and the filter box 21 in this order. The oil mist which can not be removed by the rotating filter 8 is adsorbed on the filter members 6, 20, 26 filled in each filter boxes 5, 17, 21 thereby making the oil mist to oil drops, while, the air removed the oil mist is discharged from an outlet 23. The oil mist drops flow along an inclined plate 25 of the filter box 21, the inclined plate 19 of the upper filter box 17 and an inner surrounding surfaces of the rear filter box 5, and the oil mist is recovered from a drain pipe 15.
