PURPOSE:To rapidly find the cause of a complicated fault including an exceptional condition by reading it out one by one when it occurs, by storing relative information regarding the updating of address conversion information in order as history information. CONSTITUTION:A history information storage area 11, at the time of reading or writing information on a main memory device 1, performs address conversion from a logic address on a program to an absolute address on the main memory device 1, and stores the update information of the address conversion information based on the result of a judging means. Also, an exception processing means judges whether the exceptional condition is an unauthorized exception or a functional exception when it occurs, and when it is the unauthorized exception, it suppresses a storing operation on the history information area 11. In such way, it is possible to find the cause of the fault rapidly by reading out the history information even when the complicated fault including the exceptional condition occurs.
