PURPOSE:To enable simplification of inspection, maintenance and the like of a flow velocity sensor, by vertically driving a sensor mounting deice by an externally driving means with the flow velocity sensor being mounted detachably. CONSTITUTION:When a flow velocity sensor 3 mounted detachably on a mounting device 2 is inspected and replaced while the sensor mounting device 2 is held at a specified sensor setting position within a water channel, with the starting of a first winch 12, a first wire 14 is wound up and the mounting device 2 lifts being guided by a guide wire 6. At the lift stop position, the sensor 3 on the mounting device 2 is inspected and maintained or replaced with a new one. Thereafter, with the starting of a second winch 13, a second wire 15 in the system is wound up and the mounting device 2 lowered to be reinstalled at the original sensor setting position. This simplifies the inspection and maintenance of the sensor 3. |
