Modification of an existing roadworks slip form machine to allow it to be used on a railway site. The invention consists in: - adding 2 plate-layer's trolleys and a hydraulic control system allowing running on a railway track; - using the rail as a reference basis, both from the layout and levelling point of view, which makes it possible to be sure that the gauge dimensions imposed are respected. <IMAGE>
