The invention relates to a self-illuminating and heating mirror 1 and grooming equipment including such a mirror. The anti-mist heating is provided by illuminating tubes 4 enclosed in a casing 3 which is at least relatively leaktight, of which the mirror 1 constitutes a wall. Similar lateral casings 9 may also be provided. The equipment may be removed, as desired, from the wall on which it is fixed and the mirror 1 may be tilted which makes it convenient for children to use. <IMAGE>
