A screen printing machine has a flat printing table 1 which can move back and forth and receives the printing carrier. A screen stencil 10, which is partially cylindrically curved is pivotable about an axle 13 which runs parallel to the printing table. It has a toothed sector 15 which engages with a rack 16 on the printing table frame 4. A squeegee 17 lies with its pressing edge in the vertical plane running through the axis of rotation 13 of the screen stencil 10 and perpendicular to the plane of the printing table 1. The pressing edge of the squeegee 17 is pressed against the screen stencil 10 by a hydraulic cylinder 25 during the printing operation and presses it against the printing carrier in the plane E. When the printing table 1 is moved to the right, the screen stencil 10 is pivoted about its axis of rotation 13 and the printing operation takes place. During the return movement, the hydraulic cylinders 25 are retracted and the squeegee 17 is pivoted by springs 26 in such a way that a scraper edge scrapes the ink from the stencil and distributes it evenly on the latter again. <IMAGE>
