PURPOSE:To speedily select a co-ordinate position and a command which are necessary for processing pictures without a sense of fatigue by providing more than two pointing devices which indicate a graphic picture or a menu screen separately by moving a cursor displayed on a display unit. CONSTITUTION:The pointing device 4a is constituted in order to instruct the movement of the cursor 2a displayed on the display 2 by operating, for instance, with a right hand and meanwhile the pointing device 4b is constituted in order to sequentially instruct the commands in a menu table [for instance the control command necessary for a CAD (rotation, movement and deletion, etc.)] displayed on the display 2, in cycle or at random. Thus one pointing device is operated with a right hand, for instance, to be controlled the movement of the cursor so as to indicate the graphic picture drawn by a drawing means and the other pointing device is operated with a left hand to be controlled so as to instruct the menu table drawn by the drawing means.
