摘要

PURPOSE:To enhance sensitivity by constituting a photoconductive layer locally formed by alternately laminating partially microcrystallized semiconductor films made mainly of silicon and different in crystallizing degree from each other and continuously changed in said degree near the interlayer between each pair of the semiconductor films. CONSTITUTION:The electrophotographic sensitive body is obtained by laminating on a conductive substrate 1 a barrier layer 2; the photoconductive layer 3 locally formed by alternately laminating the partially microcrystallized semiconductor films made mainly of silicon and different in crystallization degree and continuously changed in said degree near the interlayer between each pair of the semiconductor films; and a surface layer 4; thus permitting the photoconductive layer 3 to generate carriers extended in life and enhanced in mobility by the presence of the superlattice structure in the photoconductive layer 3, and the electrophotographic sensitive body to be remarkably enhanced in sensitivity.
