<p>PURPOSE:To deodorize the malodorous gas from a sewage treating facility by providing a gas-turbine generator supplied with the air in a treating chamber as the fuel combustion air, a stack for discharging the exhaust gas from the generator, and a means for adsorbing malodorous gas to the title system. CONSTITUTION:The malodorous gas is deodorized by connecting a suction duct 14 to be used as a supply passage to the gas-turbine generator 17, and an adsorption means 48 is provided in the vicinity of a fan 12 on the downstream side of the suction duct 14. The adsorption means 48 is packed with activated carbon powder, reactive metal powder, etc., in its frame member. The air contg. malodorous gas in the treating chamber 2 is introduced to the adsorption means 48, and the malodorous component is adsorbed. In this case, the activated carbon powder removes the malodorous component by chemisorption. Meanwhile, the reactive metal powder consists, for example, of ferrous sulfate, aluminum sulfate, etc., and removes the malodorous component by reduction and adsorption.</p> |
