PURPOSE:To obtain the titled composition improved in thermal stability suitable for electric appliances, etc., by incorporating a flame-retardant resin comprising styrene resin and halogen-based flame-retardant with each specified amount of organotin (di)thiodipropionic acid salt and hydrotalcite. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition can be obtained by incorporating (A) 100pts.wt. of a styrene resin with (B) 1-50pts.wt. of a halogen-based flame- retardant, (C) 0.01-5pts.wt. of at least one kind of compound selected from dialkyltin thiodipropionic acid salts of formula I (R is alkyl), monoalkyltin, thiodipropionic acid salts of formula II, dialkyltindithiodipropionic acid salts of formula III and monoalkyltin dithiodipropionic acid salts of formula IV, and (D) 0.01-5pts.wt. of hydrotalcite of formula V (x satisfies the condition: 0<x<=0.5; m is positive number). This composition is easy to process at high temperatures.
