PURPOSE:To improve a starting property by providing a projection part which closes a feed hole when a control rack is in the position of exceeding a full position, on the end part of a plunger. CONSTITUTION:An upper lead 15 or a projecting part is provided on the end part of a plunger 10 which is moved in the axial direction inside a barrel 16. The upper lead 15 is set in such a way that it closes the feed hole 17 of the barrel 16 when a control rack 21 is moved in a fuel increasing position exceeding a full position at the time of starting. Thereby, an injection timing can be made earlier while increasing an injection quantity, to improve a starting property.
