The invention relates to an indoor blind comprising an upper rail intended to be fixed to the upper part of a surface, particularly a glazed surface, to be covered and a curtain which can be opened out and folded up under the action of an operating braided rope. The curtain consists of a plurality of separate horizontal panels 2, 3, 4, 5, the upper panel 2 being fixed to the rail 1 and the other panels being joined together and to the upper panel by vertical ribbons 6a, 6b fixed near the upper edge of each panel and keeping a predetermined vertical spacing between these panels in the opened-out position of the blind, and at least one braided rope 10a, 10b joined to the operating braided rope 8, fixed at its end 11a, 11b to the lower panels 5 and mounted so as to slide vertically in loops 13 provided on the intermediate panels 3, 4. <IMAGE>
