<p>PURPOSE:To realize document editing with high operability, by moving a cursor on a display screen synchronously with a voice output and indicating a word in the voice output. CONSTITUTION:A storage device 2 is stored with document data, etc., to be edited. A voice output device 3 once inputting a signal indicating a work outputs a corresponding voice signal. This voice signal drives a speaker 8 to output an actual voice. Character string data in a screen memory 4, on the other hand, is displayed on a display 7 through a screen controller 6. The contents of the memory 4 are modified by a processor 9 and a cursor register 5 is stored with a numeral for indicating the display position of the cursor on the screen; and the controller 6 displays the cursor on the screen. In this case, the cursor moves synchronously with the voice output to indicate the word in the voice output.</p> |
