PURPOSE:To achieve uniform working quality by operating a stand-by time by referring to the preheating conditions table inside a memory means from the work information inputted from an input device, providing the means to decide the optimum preheating time with its operation and setting a proper preheating time. CONSTITUTION:The scheduled working is performed by reading the specified working program PRO from a working program memory 7 by a main control part 2. Prior to starting the work the material MT, plate thickness TK of a work and the duty alpha of a laser power are inputted as the work information INF into an input device 5. Preheating time T1 is then found from a preheating conditions table memory 10 by a stand-by time arithmetic part 9. Optimum preheating time T2 is found the preheating time T1 from the duty of laser power in actual work shown in the work information INF. The work is started by heating by the preheating time T2. With this laser beam machine, an optimum preheating time can be set and the working of uniform and good quality is enabled. |
