PURPOSE:To forcibly cool a radiator, to prevent the occurrence of overheat and the like, and to compact an engine, by a method wherein a forced cooling air exhaust port is formed in a magnet cover, and the radiator is spanned across the exhaust port. CONSTITUTION:The left end of a crank shaft 10 is extended through a magnet 12 and is secured by means of belt 13, and a forced cooling fan 14 is secured to the end surface of the magnet 12 by means of a bolt 15. A magnet cover 16 is secured to the side of a left crank case 11L by means of a bolt 19. In this constitution, plural flow baffle plates 20, uniforming the flow of cooling air, is integrally situated to the side of a cylinder togetherwith a forced cooling air flow passage 26, extended radially externally centering around the crank shaft 10. A boxform exhaust port 17 is connected to a position above the flow baffle plates and in a manner to cover its surroundings with walls in order to contain a radiator 18. This constitution forces cooling water to be guided to the radiator 18 through the flow baffle plates 20. |
